Night Shift CNC Machinist for Gaishin Manufacturing Grand Rapids Facility :

Our Night Shift works Monday - Thursday from 2 : 00 pm to 12 : 00 am. There is a 10% premium paid on this shift! We are looking for candidates that are looking for a long-term career at a company that values and supports their employees.

What we are looking for :

• Self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and awesome communication & interpersonal skills.
• Dependable individual with an excellent work ethic and the ability to stand / walk during the entire shift.
• Must be willing to learn have ability to be coached.
• Previous Swiss Style and / or Mill / Turn Style lathe operation preferred.
• Min. 2 years of any CNC operation
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools, calipers and micrometers, etc.
• Understanding of production procedures.
• Experience in geometric tolerancing along with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals as well as GD&T.

Job Summary :

A successful machinist / operator within our organization will accurately and efficiently use multi-axis CNC machines to produce quality parts, troubleshoot, set-up or process issues quickly, maintain equipment, and keep all production areas clean and organized.
