Research Services Manager
The Research Services Manager is an integral part of Latham's Research Services team. This role will be responsible for managing the department's current awareness, and leading monitoring efforts in the relevant region, while creating bespoke monitoring products, leveraging multiple tools, technologies, and information sources that are responsive to attorney and business services needs. This role will be located in either our New York, Boston, or Washington D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include :
- Training Research Services staff to develop monitoring products that reduce the need for human curation, by crafting creative and well-tailored search parameters whenever possible
- Developing and implementing standards and best practices for the delivery of current awareness and monitoring
- Managing aggregation platforms, such as Vable and LN Newsdesk, and working with vendors to troubleshoot issues and maintain the integrity of the data
- Working within Technology & Information Services to develop internal solutions, such as a current awareness dashboard for attorneys and business services, enabling colleagues to easily discover current awareness and monitoring products and providing a mechanism to self-subscribe
- Collaborating with Litigation Services and other business services, where overlap exists, to develop efficient procedures and communications to streamline processes and satisfy attorney and business services needs
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and / or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Pay Range : USD $155,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 / Yr.
