About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in specialty required

License : Valid State License required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required

Must-Have : Charge experience preferred, Epic charting system experience preferred

Description :

Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient / family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting.

Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area.

Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.

Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family / support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.

Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.

Requires knowledge of managing various acute conditions, emergency medications, and advanced interventions.

Skills in triage, phlebotomy, and management of critically ill patients are essential.

The nurse will be expected to function in high-pressure situations and make critical decisions quickly.

Must maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Weekend coverage is required with possible float to other facilities nearby.
