A company is looking for a Sr. SQL Database Administrator to support large-scale migration and operations on a high-profile DOD contract.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage Oracle RAC with Data Guard, and SQL Servers, ensuring high availability
Manage databases, handle backups, perform recoveries, and apply security patches while maintaining data integrity
Engage in database design, optimize queries, and document processes while providing remote and on-site support
Required Qualifications
BS with 8+ years or Masters with 6 years of relevant experience; specific experience may substitute for degree
Higher level knowledge of database standards, concepts, and tools
Experience in technical database administration activities and interfacing with senior management and clients
Must meet DoD 8570.11-IAT Level II certification requirements
U.S. citizenship and an active TS / SCI clearance are required
