We’re seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist with Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credentials to join our Texas rehabilitation team.
In this role, you’ll evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, and upper‑extremity conditions—designing customized interventions to maximize function and comfort.
Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough initial evaluations and re‑evaluations for hand and upper‑extremity injuries Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans (e.g., therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, splinting) Fabricate and adjust custom orthoses and adaptive equipment Monitor patient progress, modify interventions as needed, and maintain accurate documentation in EMR Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, physical therapists, and support staff Participate in staff meetings, in‑services, and continuing‑education activities Required Qualifications Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification Minimum 2 years of clinical OT experience , with a strong focus on hand and upper‑extremity rehabilitation Current, unrestricted Texas OT license Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Preferred Qualifications Experience in a high‑volume outpatient hand therapy clinic Additional post‑professional hand therapy coursework or certifications Bilingual in English and Spanish Salary & Benefits Competitive salary plus productivity incentives Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)) Generous PTO and continuing‑education reimbursement Supportive, team‑oriented culture with regular training opportunities Powered by JazzHR
