Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our fast-paced law firm in St. Louis, MO. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic team of legal professionals. The chosen candidate will represent clients who have suffered personal injuries, manage case files, and advocate for fair and just compensation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plaintiff representation, negotiation, legal research, mediation, and depositions.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to clients and represent them in court
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, contracts, etc.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients or to prepare cases
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to avoid court litigation
- Conduct depositions of parties and witnesses
- Represent clients in mediations and court proceedings
- Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases
- Maintain an updated and organized case file for each client
- Collaborate with legal staff and other professionals to ensure cases are handled efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with changes in personal injury law and inform clients accordingly
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolMust be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state barMinimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on plaintiff representationProven experience in negotiation, legal research, mediation, and depositionsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressureStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to manage multiple tasks and cases while meeting tight deadlinesHigh ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with clients, colleagues, and the communityA proven track record of client satisfaction and case successJob Details
Base pay range : $120,000.00 / yr - $160,000.00 / yr
