job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in a hospital setting providing ultrasound imaging services Schedule consists of five 8-hour day shifts per week, typically 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM with some variability On-call required up to two days during the week and one weekend a month Patient population includes OB and general diagnostic imaging cases Must live at least 100 miles from the facility Perform dimensional ultrasonic recordings and various imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes Operate sonographic equipment and communicate diagnostic examination results Responsible for following all patient safety protocols and providing age-appropriate care Functions as the first line interface with patients to address imaging needs No local candidates accepted within a 100-mile radius RDMS certification required OB certification required BLS (AHA only) required Graduate of an accredited Sonographer program required Minimum of 2 years experience as a Ultrasound Technologist in a U.S. hospital Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and operation of multiple types of sonographic equipment Must possess an active license; no pending licenses accepted—license required if applicable CPI certification mandated by position Two manager or supervisor references preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer Must provide SS card and driver's license for consideration High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
