Assistant Infants' Teacher

Bright Light Academy is seeking an experienced assistant teacher to join our infants' teaching team. The ideal candidates will have at least two years experience working with young children, preferably under three years old, be a team player & have a passion for early learning. Candidates MUST qualify as an Assistant Group Supervisor with DHS to be considered. CDA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with other teachers to plan & implement daily lesson plans & activities.
• Help create a safe & stimulating classroom environment for the children in your care.
• Monitor & engage with children during playtime, meals, personal hygiene & other daily routines.
• Provide individual & group support to children as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development & progress.
• Complete child assessments & participate in parent / teacher conferences.
