Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, this is a highly visible and skilled position involving exercise of independent judgment and initiative in a DOH setting. Provides excellent customer service and quality care experience at every customer encounter for the day-to-day operations, office related duties, and billing related to the Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (FBCCEDP) at the Florida Department of Health in Duval County. Performs business operations according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Responds to public inquiries over the telephone and at outreach events related to FBCCEDP eligibility criteria and services. Provides information on resources related to tobacco cessation and nicotine replacement therapy.Coordinates care coordination for FBCCEDP clients following established FBCCEDP program guidelines and HIPAA regulations.Greets FBCCEDP clients and community partners over the phone. Interacts with FBCCEDP clients and community partners in a professional manner and proactively addresses concerns. Answers, documents, and / or transfers telephone calls in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.Provides FBCCEDP and tobacco cessation materials to community partners and County Health Departments in the region for placement in lobbies, as well as distribution through email blasts, social media posts, and mail delivery.Participates in health outreach events and presentations to share information with community partners, residents, early learning centers, workplaces, and in other settings to increase awareness about tobacco cessation resources, nicotine replacement therapy, and the benefits of quitting tobacco.Participates in activities related to national tobacco observances with a focus on increasing awareness of tobacco cessation resources, nicotine replacement therapy, and the benefits of quitting tobacco.Represents FBCCEDP at Tobacco Free Jacksonville partnership meetings.Compiles various FBCCED reports and TOBBX reports needed for local and state office. Tracks and reports tobacco cessation referrals made at outreach events and at DOH clinical locations.Provides requested support to team members (program manager, peers, interns, volunteers).Assists with inventory and ordering office supplies, as needed.Additional Competencies
Input FBCCEDP client's billing invoices and claims into electronic databases.Track paid invoices and maintain files for duplicate payment.Assists with the maintenance of the annual budget for FBCCEDP.Attends in-service education, staff meetings, and health promotion activities as directed.Serves as Information and Key Custodian.Ensure accurate and timely submission of Employee Activity Records (EARs), employee leave and attendance records, and travel logs.Performs other related duties as assigned. This may include supporting the organization in disaster and emergency management functions.Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including needs assessment and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft applications, electronic health records (2 years).Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including spelling, grammar, and composition rules.Knowledge of medical billing claims and invoice processes (2 years).Skills related to effective communication and social perceptiveness.Time management and ability to manage own time and others' time.Ability to read, write, listen, and communicate clearly; ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.Physical ability to lift 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and set up tables and tents.Qualifications
Minimum :
Must have 2 years of experience in electronic health records and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.Must have 2 years of experience in medical billing claims and invoice processing.Must have 1 year of Community Health Outreach experience.Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds, stand, set up tables and tents.Preferred :
