Product Manager
The Product Manager is responsible for owning the strategy, development, and delivery of products within a defined subdomain of the state agency portfolio. The PM works closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure products meet user needs, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
Position Responsibilities :
- Maintains the product lifecycle for assigned subdomain(s) : from discovery and requirements gathering to launch and iteration.
- Develops and maintains product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with domain-level strategy and organizational goals.
- Collaborates with engineering, design, operations, and external partners to deliver high-quality products.
- Gathers and analyzes user feedback, data, and market trends to inform product decisions.
- Defines and tracks product metrics to measure success and inform continuous improvement.
- Communicates product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensures compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards.
- Develops, mentors, and provides leadership to Product Owners, fostering their growth and ensuring alignment with product goals.
This position may be expected to cross-train in other sections of their division and perform the job duties in each section, based on the needs of the agency.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
Demonstrates ability to manage products from concept to launch.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Experience with agile methodologies and user-centered design.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Education & Experience :
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Public Administration, OR4 years of experience in product management, OR a closely related field, ORequivalent combination of education and experience.Special Requirements :
The schedule for this position may vary and require flexibility, including some early or late shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime, based on the needs of the agency.This position will not require travel.This position is not eligible for telework.This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.This position requires employees to be able to stand up to eight hours a day and lift 10-50 pounds on a regular basis, with assistance as needed.Equal Opportunity Employment :
