Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Buckeye, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will focus on access control duties, monitoring entry points and verifying badges to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as needed. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to maintain compliance with site-specific access protocols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address access control and security-related needs as they arise.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following location-specific policies and procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
