Piper Companies is seeking a Telephony Network Specialist to join a leading telecommunications company while focusing on maintaining and modernizing voice communication systems, including the transition from legacy TDM platforms to VoIP / SIP-based solutions. The position requires an active Top Secret clearance and will be 100% onsite five days per week in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Responsibilities for the Telephony Network Specialist :
- Oversee and maintain telephony infrastructure across both traditional TDM systems and modern IP-based voice technologies.
- Lead efforts to migrate from legacy telephony to VoIP / SIP solutions.
- Participate in hands-on lab work, system testing, and deployment activities to ensure operational readiness.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver seamless integration and optimize system performance.
