Northern Gear & Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Set-up Machinist to collaborate with a team dedicated to the success of our customers. This position will be responsible for efficient and timely set-ups.

The ideal candidate would have but is not limited to experience with the following :

• Perform all operations to set up equipment, fixtures, and CNC Milling Machines.
• Ability to do multiple set-ups in a shift.
• Responsible for the selection for tooling.
• Instruct operators on procedures and methods.
• Diagnose troubles and make adjustments.
• Work from drawings, specifications.
• Use a variety of precision measuring devices
• Inspections of machined products including documentation of results.
• Complete all required job performance sheets.
• Complete all 1st piece inspection requirements. Adhere to all Quality requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Follows all safety procedures and policies.
• Able to assist other operators.
• Willing to run machines when set-ups are complete.
• Have their own tools.

7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm
