Job Summary
The Accessibility Training Specialist helps design and deliver Title II- focused education in the Library. You will work with the Library's Accessibility Lead and Accessibility Services Librarian, the Library's Accessibility Steering Committee, and other Accessibility partners in the Library and on campus to develop and implement training programs across a variety of formats, including online and in-person instruction, Canvas courses, videos, and more. You will also help track participation in training offered by the Library and evaluate program impact through documentation and reporting of participation. Working in partnership with Library and campus partners, you will play an important part in ensuring the Library's compliance with the updated Title II regulations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Reporting Structure
The Accessibility Training Specialist reports to the Accessibility Lead in Digital Scholarship and Creative Spaces in the Learning and Teaching division. Learning and Teaching advances next century literacies, guides learning, and inspires curiosity through its programs and partnerships.
Supervisory Experience :
The Accessibility Training Specialist may supervise student employees or staff for Accessibility services.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a variety of accessibility-focused training programs across multiple forms of media such as Canvas, Zoom, and in-person workshops, webinars.
Develop an assessment plan to track the engagement and effect of accessibility training and communication programs.
