Pre-Litigation Supervising Attorney

Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pre-Litigation Supervising Attorney located at our Headquarters in Joliet, IL. The Pre-Litigation Supervising Attorney will oversee the pre-litigation team comprised of case managers and insurance specialists that work with clients to get a case either to settle pre-trial or in a good place to file suit.

The goal of the pre-litigation supervising attorney is to effectively supervise and support the pre-litigation team, offering guidance that will increase client compensation. In addition, the pre-litigation supervising attorney is to review all cases in pre-litigation to determine which cases require escalation. Ultimately, the pre-litigation supervising attorney is responsible for the closure of all pre-litigation cases.

Qualifications

• In-depth plaintiff knowledge to maximize client compensation
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle high-priority cases, coordinate multiple deadlines, and maintain meticulously organized records and case files.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear and professional interactions with clients, staff and other attorneys
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, skilled in preparing accurate specials summaries, treatment updates, and settlement statements with precision.
• Proficient in managing staff including timeliness, organization and ability to have difficult conversations with staff and the ability to support professional growth of others
• Bachelor's degree in Law (Juris Doctor)
• Admission to the Illinois BAR required
• Admission to the Florida BAR preferred
