- Primary shift : Monday through Friday 11 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM, but could be asked to work earlier shifts
- Saturday shifts are a possibility
- No on-call requirements
- No floating requirements between locations
- Patient load : approximately 10 patients per day
- Blocked scheduling accommodated
- PET CT experience is mandatory (at least 1 year or more)
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification by ARRT required
- Louisiana state licensure (LRT (N) by LSRTBE) required
- BLS certification required
- All certifications and licenses must be active, current and in hand at time of submission
- Basic computer experience required
- Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures for outpatient, cancer, and PET diagnosis patients
- Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
- Maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
- Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license
- Ensure completed exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS system
