The Job :

Manages environmental compliance and conservation as well as safety initiatives for the Dallas, TX DC facility.

Performs regular environmental inspections, maintains all permit and regulatory record keeping, and interfaces with regulatory compliance.

Analyze and report site performance against goals to site team, GTS EHS Manager and / or Corporate Director of EHS.

Implements programs to ensure safe workplace and motivates safe work habits; identifies ad resolves unsafe working conditions.

Works with Maintenance team to ensure safety is engineered into equipment, workstations and work duties.

Develops and implements programs designed to improve workplace health; focuses on ergonomics, work habits, etc.

Ensure compliance with state and federal safety / health regulations. Liaison (with corporate EHS support) with government agencies or regulatory issues

Steward annual EHS audits to support compliance certification; provide oversight of audit corrective actions, and report on audit results, as necessary

Schedule and deliveries require environmental and safety training

Complete compliance calendar for all required activities and reporting obligations

Understand solid and hazardous waste laws and regulations applicable to the facility's management and disposal of such waste.

Ensure site maintains current environmental, safety and security data on the EHSS website

Manage, maintain and improve SBD EHS scorecard, ISO 14000 and ISO 45001 management systems and certifications

The Person :

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in any environmental or sustainability management preferred

2 years EH&S, environmental management, compliance and sustainability experience in a manufacturing environment required

Experience with sustainability, CSR initiatives and environmental audits, assessment and mitigation

Extensive knowledge of Federal, State and Local environmental regulations, compliance and permitting regulations

Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, and ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 standards. Internal auditor preferred.
