Administrative Assistant Long Beach, CA

Pay : $19$20 / hour

Contract-to-Hire | 6-Month Duration

Overview :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to provide direct support to the President for a Construction Management Company. This role requires someone who is structured, professional, and proactive in managing day-to-day administrative needs. The ideal candidate does not need extensive prior experience but must demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities (both verbal and written), and a professional presence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and organize emails, ensuring timely responses and follow-up on important items.
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems in an orderly manner.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and confirm meetings and appointments.
  • Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assist in planning and organizing daily schedules and priorities.
  • Track down answers and information for periodic questions or tasks as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support as required.

Qualifications :

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to work.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
  • Prior experience as an assistant or in an administrative role is a plus, but not required.

  • Reliable, resourceful, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

    Compensation : $19$20 / hour
