Job Description

As a Security Officer Residential Patrol Unarmed Driver in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential community, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the residential community.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any observations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and provide information as needed.
  • Document incidents, activities, and observations accurately in daily reports or logs as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering the residential location and / or restricted areas.
  • Support Allied Universal and client expectations by maintaining a visible presence and upholding site-specific standards.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
