Lead Operations That Keep Our Rotary Department Running
At Real Alloy in Sapulpa, OK, your decisions on the floor will shape output, quality, and safety for a high‑impact rotary operation. As the Rotary Furnace Operations Supervisor, you’ll guide a production crew, keep equipment and people aligned, and ensure every shift hands off cleanly to the next.
A day in your work boots
- Kick off with a safety huddle and production review, aligning the team on targets and hazards.
- Coordinate crew assignments and assist with daily / weekly production scheduling to meet demand.
- Walk the line : verify 5S standards, housekeeping, and sustainment practices in work cells and around furnaces.
- Respond to issues fast—lead root cause analyses on scrap events, unplanned downtime, and process deviations; lock in corrective actions.
- Audit and maintain accurate shift records, logs, and KPIs for traceability and compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and build a collaborative, safety‑first culture where people thrive.
- Support troubleshooting and basic maintenance activities on furnace equipment to keep throughput steady.
- Close the loop with end‑of‑shift reporting and a crisp handoff to the next team.
Schedule
Flexible rotation : 4 days on / 4 days off, alternating between day and night shift every 4 weeks.
What you bring
High school diploma or equivalent.3+ years of experience in a skilled trade or industrial environment.Hands‑on proficiency troubleshooting and supporting maintenance for furnace equipment.Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.Clear communication, problem‑solving ability, and comfort juggling priorities in a fast‑paced setting.Motivated, ethical, goal‑driven mindset; willing to work overtime when needed.Advanced technical training (trade school or higher education) preferred.Core strengths
