As a Security Professional - Unarmed Financial Site in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $32.79 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tuesday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Friday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Saturday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sunday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and maintaining visitor logs as required.

Support emergency response activities, including evacuation or lockdown procedures, in accordance with site-specific protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.

Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a secure environment within the financial institution location.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
