Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel RN – ICU (Cardiovascular Unit) | Enloe Medical Center Shift : 12-hour Days (07 : 00 AM start) Location : Enloe Medical Center, California Contract Length : 91 days (~13 days) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Unit Overview : Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) 30-bed specialized unit Serves medium- to high-acuity patients Nurse-to-patient ratio not to exceed 1 : 4 Patient population : Young adult to geriatric Common diagnoses and procedures : Cardiac : MI, CHF, arrhythmias, post-pacemaker Surgical : CABG, carotid endarterectomy Medical : Pneumonia, complex comorbidities Patients are stable but have high risk of instability , requiring elevated nursing care ✅ Must-Have Requirements : Active California RN license BLS & ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / Critical Care experience EPIC charting experience Willingness to float to other units (e.g., Med / Surg) Additional Notes : Facility only accepts W-2 agency employees Med / Surg and Critical Care RNs must float as needed Strong preference for adaptable, clinically confident RNs due to acuity and potential unit floating Ideal Candidate Profile : An experienced ICU nurse with strong cardiac background, comfortable managing post-op cardiac surgical patients, and skilled in critical decision-making.
