Job Details :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Foreman to join our well-established Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of electricians to install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment within the company. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed electrician with leadership experience to take on a role where they can make a real impact.

Responsibilities :

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical team to ensure optimal performance and adherence to established safety standards.

2. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems and equipment.

3. Ensure that all electrical work is completed to a high standard of quality and in a timely manner.

4. Coordinate with project managers and other team leaders to plan and execute electrical projects.

5. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify any issues and ensure they are resolved promptly.

6. Train and mentor junior electricians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

7. Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including any issues encountered and how they were resolved.

8. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.

9. Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates on project progress and discuss any challenges or issues.

Qualifications :

1. Must be a licensed electrician with at least 2 years of experience as a foreman or in a similar leadership role.

2. Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

3. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.

4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a team.

5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders.

7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively plan and manage projects to ensure they are completed on time and to a high standard of quality.

8. A commitment to ongoing learning and development, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

9. Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
