LNC is partnering with an award-winning, top 200 accounting and advisory firm located in the Dallas, Texas Area that is looking to find a Tax Director to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview

Lead and oversee all aspects of tax engagements for a diverse client portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a substantial client book valued at $1M, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, optimizing their tax positions and compliance efforts.
  • Direct and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Stay abreast of evolving tax laws and regulations, advising clients on potential impacts and opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior leadership to drive firm growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to business development efforts, expanding the firm's client base and service offerings.

Qualifications

  • CPA license required
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive tax experience within public accounting or industry.
  • Proven track record of managing a significant client portfolio and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
