NC - Digital Electronic Technician

Position Summary

Performs Service and Repair duties including routine maintenance, repair and assembly under supervision. Must demonstrate an interest in repairing Digital / software / programmed based equipment with a desire to achieve results while thinking outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble components and power units for service and repair including teardown and inspection of unit.
• Soldering and De-soldering of through-hole and surface mount components.
• Analyze unit and parts involved to prepare a listing of parts that are worn, damaged, or not functioning properly.
• Use multi-meter meter to test components.
• Initial Power Testing and Diagnostics with assistance.
• Read and comprehend manuals / schematics.
• Standard level repair and testing within department with assistance.
• Clean, organize, and maintain the Lab equipment.
• Ensure safety rules and safe work practices are followed throughout department.
• Participate in continuous improvement through training and associate development.
• Other duties as assigned.
