Data Analyst - Supplier Capacity Management

We are seeking a Data Analyst Supplier Capacity Management for a client in the automotive industry, specializing in vehicle manufacturing. This is a long-term contractor role based in Vance, AL that requires onsite presence. Purpose

Under general supervision, this position will be responsible for developing tools and reports used to process supplier KPI data. The role includes performing general analytics on existing data sets, gathering and analyzing data requirements, and performing analysis on different databases.

Responsibilities

• Implement and track cost saving initiatives.
• Meet all other requirements as assigned.
• Develop tools to help bring transparency to the supply chain.
• Improve current data storage, accessibility, and processing strategy to increase data flow through the team.
• Reduce team member data collection efforts to allow for more focus on execution analysis and optimization of the database, increasing time efficiency and reducing application and server issues.
• Collaborate with IT on a sustainable support structure for tools developed; examine and identify data patterns and trends to inform business decisions.
• Gather and analyze data requirements and develop logical and physical databases and data models.
• Further develop databases to address business requirements, ensuring system scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Perform safe work practices and participate in training and safety programs by following safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards, and laws.
• Report unsafe acts / conditions and injuries; work safely 100% of the time. Perform other duties as required.
