Overview

Koniag Information Technology Services (KITS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Data Analyst II with a Top Secret clearance to support our Army customer in Huntsville, Alabama. This on-site role will provide comprehensive data analysis support to the Army Materiel Command (AMC), enabling data-driven decision-making and enhancing operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization tools, and knowledge of predictive modeling techniques. This position requires on-site presence in Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Description

The Data Analyst II will be responsible for delivering end-to-end data analysis services to support AMC operations and strategic initiatives. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

• Gather, clean, and prepare data from diverse sources, ensuring quality and usability for analysis
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights
• Develop and apply appropriate statistical methods and data analysis techniques
• Create predictive models to support forecasting and strategic planning activities
• Design and implement compelling data visualizations that clearly communicate analytical findings
• Produce concise, informative reports with actionable recommendations based on data analysis
• Maintain data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across datasets
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to AMC personnel on data analysis tools and best practices
• Support the development and maintenance of a robust data science process
• Contribute to enterprise-level data strategy through research and recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical frameworks
• Document analytical methodologies, processes, and results
• Stay current on emerging data analysis techniques and technologies
• Implement data governance practices within analytical processes
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Adhere to DoD / Army policies, industry best practices, and contract requirements in all work
