Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our dynamic team in Owatonna, MN. If you have a passion for precision machining and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet our clients' specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Program CNC machines using G-code and CAD / CAM software to create precise parts.
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist / programmer, with a strong understanding of machining processes.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with CAD / CAM software and G-code programming.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
