Qualys Subject Matter Expert

A company is looking for a Qualys SME contractor to support the Qualys environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee scanning tools (Qualys) to ensure coverage across the targeted environment

Evaluate vulnerabilities based on CVSS scores, exploitability, threat intelligence, and business context to prioritize remediation efforts

Coordinate with system owners and stakeholders for patching, configuration changes, or compensating controls

Required Qualifications

Experience with Qualys implementation and management

Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and remediation processes

Understanding of CVSS scoring and threat intelligence

Ability to work in a remote setting, preferably within the EST time zone

Experience in coordinating with technical teams and stakeholders
