Job Description

The Project Superintendent - Top ENR GC - Asheville will be expected to :

  • Project Planning and Scheduling : Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, setting clear milestones and deadlines. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Site Management : Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Budget and Cost Control : Monitor project costs and expenses, ensuring the project remains within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering solutions when necessary.
  • Communication and Reporting : Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders, providing timely updates and addressing issues as they arise. Prepare and submit progress reports, daily logs, and incident reports.
  • Change Order Management : Evaluate and process change orders in collaboration with project managers and clients, ensuring proper documentation and execution of changes.
  • Resource Management : Coordinate and allocate labor, materials, and equipment to keep the project moving forward efficiently. Forecast resource needs and ensure timely material deliveries.
  • Quality Assurance : Implement and enforce quality control procedures, conducting regular inspections to ensure that work adheres to project specifications and industry standards.

    The successful Project Superintendent - Top ENR GC - Asheville should have the following qualifications :

  • Experience : A minimum of 6 years as a Superintendent in the building and construction industry, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project execution.
