Job Summary

The Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) will have both in-class and out of class duties. Approximate breakdown is as follows :

• 25% Attendance at and preparation for all required course meetings; hold tutorial sessions with students as needed / instructed
• 35% Grading of homework, quizzes and select writing assignments under supervision of primary course instructor.
• 30% Prepare, in consultation with primary professor, several short in-class activities (first semester) and two full-session lessons (second semester)
• 10% Theoretical and pedagogical readings, as assigned by the primary professor ensure the time percentage is added to the job description.
