What is a Maintenance Technician?
This job offers a variety of tasks with focus on the maintenance and upkeep of the company's properties. The primary Maintenance Technician responsibility is to maintain the properties in market-ready condition and respond to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform a variety of maintenance tasks and work efficiently in all types of weather conditions.

Maintenance Technician Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare vacant apartments to market ready conditionRespond to resident requests and work orders promptlyPerform on-call emergency services as required (rotation shared with other maintenance techs)Perform plumbing, appliance and electrical repairs, lock repairs / replacements, smoke alarm maintenance, and window / door screen repairsPerform preventative maintenance tasks (examples include filter changes, asset collection, HVAC coil cleaning, flushing hydrants, and garage door preventive maintenanceCommunicate maintenance concerns to Property ManagerMaintain cleanliness of grounds and common areasPerform daily pool tasks (cleaning, checking water levels, maintaining chemicals)Proper use of maintenance materials, tools, and equipmentMaintain professional and courteous attitude with residents and coworkersDay-to-Day Duties & Expectations
