Ability to evaluate objectively, fairly, and consistently. Ability to use common tools. Ability to understand and follow directions as given. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Physical Demands : You will need to be able to perform repetitive tasks such as walking, bending, twisting and use of hands, wrists, and arms. You will need to be able to lift approximately 50-75 lbs. This position will work in varying degrees of temperature. Constant physical effort required, including standing, sitting, bending, crouching, over 8 -12-hour work shift Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds several times per day Standing and / or sitting for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and / or pull light to moderate amounts of weight.

Position Summary
A Fuel Technician has a wide variety of skills and will be able to work through difficult problems. This person installs, maintains & repairs fuel dispensers; submersible fuel pumps; service station site controllers; credit card readers; cash register consoles; pumping PCW; tank & line monitoring equipment; various other types of equipment found in service station and convenience gas stations.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Work in a safe manner
- Install troubleshooting and service convenience store networking, including running cable, programming routers, and establishing connectivity to credit networks
- Install, calibrate, test fuel dispenser and associated equipment
- Install, program, and service point of sale systems for convenience stores
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service fuel dispenser and associated equipment
- Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and annual certification of fuel station equipment
- Read, interpret, and follow instructions and operations manuals
- Observe and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform the job duties in a safe and sensible manner in accordance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
- When necessary, respond to emergency repairs and provide after-hours support needed
