The Global Corporate Development team works directly with WEBTOON’s top management to define, analyze, and execute M&A / investment opportunities and strategic partnerships. This role is critical for WEBTOON’s rapid global expansion, as the company actively pursues both organic and inorganic growth strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication skills for engaging both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Initiate, support and drive the company’s strategic growth initiatives including partnership, M&As, and new business development
• Collaborate with leaders within the company to identify, define, and analyze strategic initiatives, directly reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer
• Lead, coordinate, and support all phases of M&A / investment and partnership process from sourcing and evaluating to execution
• Conduct in-depth research on markets, competitors, and potential partners; maintain a strong external perspective and form expert viewpoints on fast-evolving market trends
• Build and cultivate relationships with industry partners, startups, and investors; represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and meetings
• Partner with cross functional teams (including product, marketing, and content) to launch and execute strategic partnerships and new business initiatives
