The Director of Rollouts will be responsible for managing large-scale retail rollout projects from start to finish and driving operational excellence across multiple client initiatives. This position will oversee a team of project managers and manage client relationships as well as the team's workload and performance. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and has deep experience in retail rollouts, fixture installations, or construction project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and motivation to department team members to achieve project goals, meet deadlines, and exceed client expectations.
- Manage full project life cycle, including onboarding, estimating, negotiating, planning, scheduling, execution, reporting, budget oversight, and client relations.
- Oversee both personal project load and the broader team portfolio, ensuring resource coverage and workload balance.
- Recruit, train, and manage subcontractors, installers, and internal staff.
- Develop, maintain, and improve project documentation, processes, and procedures.
- Drive operational efficiency and financial performance, including budget management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Partner with executive leadership to present bids, shape departmental strategies, and influence business growth.
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and implement solutions that align with client and company goals.
- Conduct employee performance management, including reviews, coaching, and hiring.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project and organizational success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.7+ years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in rollouts, retail installation, or fixture installations.3+ years managing 5+ direct reports, with a proven ability to lead diverse teams.Demonstrated success managing high-profile clients and complex project portfolios.Strong financial acumen with expertise in negotiating, driving margins, forecasting, and reporting.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working in a technology-driven environment.Compensation & Benefits
