Mortgage Research Center is hiring : Sr. UX / UI Engineer in Columbia Township

Overview

As a Senior UX / UI Engineer, you’ll lead the design and development of user-friendly web pages and applications that solve real customer and business challenges. You’ll take ideas from concept to high-fidelity prototypes, then build the frontend and work alongside Software Engineers to bring them to life. Once your designs are out in the world, you’ll collaborate with Analysts to gather user feedback, test, iterate, and keep improving experiences. You’ll also provide support and mentorship to less experienced engineers. This role is all about teamwork—you’ll be working closely with stakeholders, researchers, copywriters, illustrators, photographers, and field experts every day to create the best possible digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with designers to turn ideas into polished designs and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Teaming up with developers to build accessible, responsive frontends using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—getting everything production-ready.
• Creating and testing new experiences, making continuous improvements based on what works best for users.
• Partnering with product owners and stakeholders to understand project goals and help shape product vision and roadmaps.
• Sketching out and presenting user-friendly solutions through workflows and wireframes, gathering feedback and refining designs before they go live.
• Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to assess how products are performing, digging into analytics and user data to find ways to make them even better.
• Providing consultative support and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Pitching in wherever needed to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.
