RedSky is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Systems Engineer to support the development, testing, and production of ServiceNow environments for a large, mission-driven Information Technology Program. This position is based in Tampa, FL, and offers the opportunity to deliver enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions in support of a high-impact federal customer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform ServiceNow system maintenance, workflow development, bug fixes, enhancements, upgrades, and technical implementation.
- Implement solutions in a Linux environment and manage ServiceNow integrations with external systems.
- Support IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) applications, including discovery, asset management, service mapping, and event management.
- Monitor and maintain system stability, analyze and address potential risks to prevent service interruptions.
- Implement, optimize, and maintain relational databases such as MariaDB.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) modules, delivering expertise in Agile development, project, portfolio, demand, and resource management.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into IT portfolio and service performance.
- Collaborate with the Continual Service Improvement (CSI) lead to evaluate new initiatives and implement advanced ITSM processes.
- Apply best practices from ITIL, Agile, and PMBOK frameworks in enterprise IT service delivery.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and support lifecycle management of IT hardware across the enterprise.
- Provide end user support and training on ServiceNow modules and best practices.
- Configure ServiceNow application fields, forms, views, notifications, roles, and access controls.
- Modify and customize core applications, such as Incident, Problem, Change, Requests, and Service Catalog.
- Offer consistent, regular attendance and perform related duties as assigned.

ServiceNow ITSM Implementer certification (preferred)Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSSKnowledge of incident, problem, change, request, and knowledge managementHands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (HTML, CSS, Angular JS, Jelly scripts, RESTful APIs)Skilled in best-practice engineering methodsRequired Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of relevant professional experience3–5 years of specific experience as a ServiceNow Systems EngineerServiceNow Certified System Administrator and / or ServiceNow Certified System EngineerITIL v4 Foundation CertificationApplicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 certificationSecurity Clearance Requirement
Must possess an active Secret security clearance (TS / SCI eligibility preferred).Travel Requirement
Up to 10% travel annually, including support for OCONUS (Outside Continental U.S.) locations as required.
