Job Description
Serve as the technical Product Owner for a cross-functional development team, focusing on the delivery of scalable, high-quality technology solutions. Partner closely with the Product Manager—who leads business and stakeholder engagement—to translate product vision into actionable technical requirements. Act as the primary technical liaison for the development team, supporting agile execution, backlog management, and cross-functional coordination. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the technical product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with architectural standards and delivery goals
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to translate business needs into technical requirements and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with developers, architects, and QA to refine user stories, clarify technical dependencies, and ensure feasibility
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical demos
- Support the development team by removing blockers, coordinating with infrastructure and support teams, and ensuring smooth delivery
- Conduct impact assessments for new features and changes, focusing on technical implications and support readiness
- Monitor post-release performance and coordinate technical adjustments or support escalations as needed
- Continuously evaluate technical trends, tools, and practices to improve team efficiency and product quality
- Act as the technical point of contact for internal support teams, ensuring readiness and alignment for product rollouts
- Maintain traceability of requirements through development, testing, and deployment phases
- Ensure technical documentation is up-to-date and accessible for support and operational teams
