Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Beaufort, SC 29902 (South Carolina nursing jobs) Unit : 22-bed adult Medical Surgical Oncology unit Assignment Length : 13 weeks (option to extend) Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00), weekdays and every other weekend; floating and holiday coverage required Hours per Week : 36 Start Date : November 5, 2025 End Date : February 4, 2026 Employment Type : Travel Nursing (W2) Estimated Weekly Pay : $1570 - $1680 Scrubs : Royal blue / white (not provided) EMR System : Meditech Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina RN license (required for South Carolina healthcare jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience BCLS certification required IV start skills required Travel nursing experience preferred Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Comfortable with high patient ratios (5-6 patients per nurse) and floating between units Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Clear background and active nursing license required Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Medical Surgical Oncology unit Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and other Med / Surg units as needed Perform IV starts and manage central and peripheral lines Administer medications, blood products, and manage surgical drains Monitor telemetry and respond to rapid response / code teams Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services Care for patients with diverse diagnoses : wounds, sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, chest pain, acute kidney injury (AKI), dialysis, liver failure, oncology, and end-of-life care Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR Complete unit orientation and required modules prior to assignment start Discover the scenic beauty and welcoming community of Beaufort, South Carolina, while making a difference as a travel nurse.
