Denture Technician

Denture Technicians assist doctors in organizing the work of the laboratory to optimize productivity. They are responsible for fabricating quality prosthetic products to provide functional and aesthetically pleasing dentures for our patients. An ideal candidate uses logic and reasoning to identify strengths / weaknesses of alternative approaches to any issues that arise. Applicants are expected to prioritize and adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner. Applicants must be able to follow instructions and standardized work practices and communicate clearly. We want you if you have a positive, upbeat attitude and can work well with others.

Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include, but are not limitedto, the following :

• Reading and understanding dentists' prescriptions; communicating with dentists as needed
• Preparing models, trimming dies, wax-up, cast and polish full gold restorations, inlays, onlays, crowns and full-gold bridges
• Following manufacturer's recommendations for curing time and technique.
• Ensuring that removable prostheses are polished and disinfected prior to delivery
• Cleaning and sterilizing work areas and equipment

Experience

2 years experience in a dental lab preferred
