Strong understanding of CIHQ, DNV, and Joint Commission (JCAHO) regulatory requirements. Demonstrated success managing budgets, contracts, and vendor performance. Experience leading high-performing teams and developing technical talent. Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills. CHTM (Certified Healthcare Technology Manager) or CBET certification. Experience in process improvement, Lean or Six Sigma initiatives. Background in capital planning or healthcare asset management. Strategic thinker with operational discipline. Strong customer partnership orientation. Skilled at balancing compliance, quality, and cost. Committed to staff development and team leadership.
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Director to lead the clinical engineering program for a major healthcare facility in Greensboro, NC. The Director will manage a diverse portfolio of medical equipment, lead technical and supervisory staff, and ensure operational, fiscal, and regulatory excellence across all biomedical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the hospital's clinical engineering program.
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and calibration of all medical equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Manage and mentor a team of supervisors and biomedical technicians, fostering performance and development.
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, service quality, and cost optimization.
- Partner with hospital executives and clinical leadership to align HTM strategies with patient care priorities.
- Ensure compliance with CIHQ, DNV, and Joint Commission standards and all applicable regulations.
- Oversee budgeting, financial management, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Drive departmental growth through innovation, technology integration, and continuous improvement.
