Willdan Energy Solutions, a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., is seeking an Events & Partnerships Coordinator. This is a hybrid role. The Events & Partnerships Coordinator will s upport the marketing team in the execution of effective marketing strategies for new construction energy efficiency programs.

The Events and Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for planning, managing, and executing strategic events and partnership initiatives that support new construction energy efficiency programs. This role focuses on building strong relationships with industry organizations and maximizing the impact of conferences, trade shows, and other events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, relationship-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing team's activities.
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data from sources such as social media, websites, and rankings.
  • Conduct market research and evaluate consumer rating reports / questionnaires.
  • Communicate campaign targets, timelines, and deliverables to the outreach team.
  • Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
  • Maintain an inventory of sales materials, ensuring all resources are current, accurate, and adhere to utility client brand guidelines.
  • Compose and post online content on the program's social media accounts.
  • Move tasks and deliverables from start to finish in a timely, rational, efficient sequence.
  • Plan and prepare in advance for the outcome Willdan wants from the discussion or presentation.
  • Present information in a manner consistent with Willdan's marketing style and brand.
  • Plan and manage all event logistics from pre-event coordination to post-event follow-up, including conferences, workshops, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Coordinate with outreach, content, and design teams to align events and partnership campaigns with marketing goals.
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with industry organizations to expand program reach and visibility.
  • Schedule and maintain regular communication with partners, including program updates and coordination on joint marketing initiatives.
  • Lead co-branded initiatives and collaborative marketing efforts that support shared goals.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities, such as speaking engagements, sponsorships, and event participation.
  • Maintain a calendar of upcoming events and partnership activities to support overall marketing strategy.
  • Develop event-related collateral in collaboration with content and design teams.
  • Gather and analyze event and partnership performance metrics to continuously improve impact.

Job Requirements / Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field preferred.
  • Above average verbal and written communication as well as strong proofreading skills.
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing concepts.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Powerpoint.
  • Experience using LinkedIn and other social media, including content posting.
  • Ability to form and maintain positive relationships with customers and teammates.
  • Ability to complete work assignments and projects reliably and on time or in advance of scheduled deadlines.
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Open to occasional travel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail managing multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including professional emails and meetings.
  • Experience planning or supporting events.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with partners and teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design, energy efficiency and / or construction industry preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM tools such as HubSpot or other online analytics tools preferred.
  • Event marketing or nonprofit / association liaison experience a plus.
  • Background in partnership development, outreach coordination, or stakeholder engagement preferred.
