Job Type : Full Time Location : Houston, Texas Pay : Competitive Pay & Benefits! Job Description What you will be doing :
Work collaboratively with Project Supervisor (PS) to determine scope, develop project schedule requirements, and coordinate purchasing and installation.Lead efforts with design partners to ensure that design timeline and proper scope are incorporated into project documents.Establish the Construction Management Plan (CMP) and ensure that PS maintains a safe and healthy work environment on all projects.Initiate and develop operational job budget for approval by Project Executive.Collaborate with PS to develop initial project schedule and updates.Follow established ISO policies and procedures.Review and establish priorities with Project Executive.Interpret project scope and requirements for subcontractor performance based on project specifications, plans, and drawings.Establish logs and track submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Project Change Orders (PCOs), Owner Change Orders, and Purchase & Delivery (P&D) for long lead items.Verify job readiness and coordinate installation of materials with PS for efficient, safe, and timely execution.Influence the overall success and profitability of projects positively.Collaborate with division personnel to establish and attain goals for developing new methods, techniques, systems, and ideas to improve performance.Work directly with PS for material acquisition.Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.Experience you will need :
Knowledge of RF shielding and installation; experience in a commercial and / or medical facilities setting preferred.Minimum 7 years’ scheduling experience; familiarity with Microsoft Project software preferred.Strong leadership and organizational skills; ability to supervise others.Knowledge of OSHA and general industry safety practices; OSHA 10 certification required, OSHA 30 certification preferred.Understanding of contract language and ability to define scopes of work.Experience with budget processes, cost coding, and cost control; strong analytical skills, including forecasting and reporting experience.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects; strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; strong interpersonal skills.Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project accounting software (Timberline experience a plus).Understanding of RFI, PCO, and change order processes, Purchase Orders (PO), Schedule of Values (SOV), complete requisition process, and subcontract negotiation and award processes.Ability to work collaboratively with others.Willingness to travel for project meetings and other project requirements.Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
