Be technical owner for end-to-end substation design, including :
General arrangements, plan / elevation views, grounding, cable and conduit layoutsEquipment specs, bill of materials, and design calculationsConstruction documentation : sequencing plans and RFP packagesTechnical StudiesGrounding, lightning, AC / DC load sizing, fault stress—and bus-level analysisCross-functional CollaborationWork seamlessly with physical designers, and coordinate with civil, geotech, transmission, distribution, and survey disciplinesGuide teams on system protection & communicationsAct as a technical point person in review meetings and knock down any blockers in the processCulture of MasteryPublish high-quality deliverables, and contribute to continuous improvementAdvise leadership on ROI and influence strategy through engineering excellenceYou Bring
CredentialsBachelor's in Electrical Engineering (accredited)Professional Engineer (PE) licenseProven Experience7+ years in high-voltage / EHV substation design—technical, detailed, high-stakesCore CompetenciesAutoCAD or Bentley MicroStationCDEGS, WinIGS, or similar tools for grounding and lightning simulationsDeep understanding of NEC, National Electrical Safety Code, and fault-level bus dynamicsCommunication SavvyExceptional written / oral skillsThrive in fast-paced, multiple-project environmentsPreferred But Awesome
