Robert Half is partnering with a client in the Harrisburg area hiring for a  Staff Accountant . This role involves overseeing daily accounting activities, managing fixed assets, inventory controls, payroll accounting, and upholding internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant :

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems.
• Support month-end close processes and maintain updated accounting policies.
• Manage fixed asset inventories, state / local tax filings, and payroll review / analytics.
• Assist with tax planning, rebate accounting, training, and external compilation preparation.
• Propose improvements to accounting processes and metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or tax.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
