The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed at the job level. Collaborate with team members to prepare accurate and timely payment documents, following established accounting policies and procedures. Support a range of agency-specific processes in WOLFS, including accounts payable transactions, travel reimbursements, CMS transactions, and P-card paymentsalways with an eye toward budget alignment and efficiency. Work closely with the team to maintain and enter Vendor Management Forms in WOLFS. Help keep our Vendor Management tracking sheet current and accurate, and ensure staff are promptly informed when vendors are activated with the State of Wyoming. Partner with colleagues to ensure that all program purchases comply with statutory, procurement, agency, and accounting policies. Serve as a resource for teammates by helping to answer questions and clarify policies and procedures, always with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach. Contribute to maintaining strong internal controls by researching and analyzing financial data in WOLFS, and by helping identify and support corrective actions when needed. Assist the Fiscal Manager with a variety of special projects, including gathering and analyzing data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.

Education : Bachelor's Degree (typically in Finance) Experience : 0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician OR Education & Experience Substitution : 3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : None
