This position will focus on support and maintenance of data within the time keeping system. This role will be liaison with the field operation to ensure timely update to employee time records, handle and support timekeeping issues, coordinate and review system updates and manage timeclock assistance. This role will coordinate and work with the time clock vendor to ensure setup and employee records are maintained correctly. This role will be responsible for providing support to the HR / Payroll department along with conducting and supporting any departmental and companywide initiatives.

This is a full-time, non exempt position based in Los Angeles, California (LAX Office). The expected hourly range for this role is $21.00 to $33.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as the relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, employees in this position are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including : medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) plan with employer match; paid time off and more.

Responsibilities

  • Inputs, reviews, and audits employee personal data changes in timekeeping system along with updates accuracy and correction.
  • Manage incoming support calls pertaining to system navigation, timecard inquiries and equipment support.
  • Assist with system access and setup.
  • Work with station admins and GM to identify timecard exceptions to have updated and clear prior to payroll processing.
  • Support station and work with Payroll core team to review and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Update timekeeping system with timecard edits due to discrepancies and off cycle processing.
  • Assist with benefit time inquiries and work with vendor to resolve any issues.
  • Support audits by providing timecard records and pay stub analysis.
  • Assist with reporting requests.
  • Assist with special projects as they arise.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate Degree and / or combination of work equivalent.
  • 2+ years of administrative support experience (preferably in HR).
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite.
  • Proficient in Excel, pivot tables, Vlookups.
  • 5+ year experience with timekeeping, payroll and HRIS systems.

  • Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Walk short distances.
  • Reach above and / or below the shoulder.
  • Sit and / or stand for short or extended periods.
  • Lift / carry / move objects, files, and documents up to 25 pounds.
  • Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
