The University of Miami Total Rewards Department has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Compensation Support Services.
The Manager, Compensation Support Services manages a team of staff and the day-to-day execution of post-hire compensation transactions and processes within Workday.
This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of employee compensation data within and supports the implementation of compensation policies and practices related to compensation transactions.
The Manager partners closely with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance, improve operational efficiency, and support compensation-related initiatives.
Core Job Functions :Manages a team ensuring the maintenance of compensation workflows and transactions within Workday.Analyzes transactional data across compensation, performance, and HR systems to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.Conduct audits of transactions (e.g., salary changes, bonus payouts, performance ratings) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with policy.Supports internal and external audits by providing detailed documentation and analysis of transactional records.Develops and maintains dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into workforce metrics, compensation spend, and performance outcomes.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to interpret data findings and recommend process enhancements that drive efficiency and reduce errors.Supports process improvements through documentation, development and facilitation of training, creation of resources and collaboration with other areas (Payroll, HR Technology etc.)Monitors data integrity and leads initiatives to improve data quality through automation and validation rules.Identifies root causes of operational inefficiencies using data-driven techniques and propose corrective actions.
Prepares executive-level summaries and presentations that translate complex data into strategic insights for decision-making.Partner with HR teams (i.e.HRCS, Talent Acquisitions, Payroll and other stakeholders) to ensure smooth execution of compensation processes.
Serves as a primary resource on compensation related transactions in Workday.Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures.
