Police Officer
The City of De Pere is looking to hire Police Officers. Applicants will be notified when vacancies occur, and applications are processed. The City of De Pere offers an elevated entry-level salary through a lateral transfer program specifically designed for Police Officers with a minimum of one year of full-time experience as a certified law enforcement officer. The City of De Pere offers an extensive field training program for those that are new to the field. Applications will be accepted on a continual basis. The basic recruitment process will consist of an initial virtual interview with the Police Department, a virtual written exam, and an in-person or virtual interview with the Police Department. The Police and Fire Commission will establish an eligibility list. Candidates placed on the eligibility list may be invited for a physical abilities test.
