Recreation Supervisor - Sports

What You'll Do :
You will leverage your management and planning expertise to provide enriching experiences for residents and ensure programs are well-organized and successful. You will bring your own creative vision to this role and have the opportunity to expand and enhance sport initiatives within the community.
Key Responsibilities include :
Supervising and expanding adult and youth sport programs and leagues, including but not limited to racket sports, flag football and lacrosse, volleyball and basketball leaguesCoordinating with multiple facilities to offer programs and with parks maintenance regarding field use and improvements.Evaluate offerings for community interest and financial stability.Collaborating with contractors to develop new programs while also maintaining existing programs.Maintain a budget and track expenses for all programs and projects.Participate in department-wide strategic planning and CAPRA accreditation to support our continued excellence.Participate in planning, renovation and development of new and existing facilities.Who We're Looking For :
An ideal candidate will :
Be highly organized and possess excellent time-management skills, thriving in an office-based role but also enjoy hands-on work with the community.Be passionate about the importance and impact of sports for all ages, while managing key programs with contractors and community groups.Have experience in leadership or supervisory roles, ideally within parks and recreation or sports management.The Recreation Supervisor - Sports position is a non-union position covered under the Administrative Personnel Policy found here :

Salary : $64,200 - $75,500, depending on your qualifications.
